The Roman Mythology
Introduction
The Roman legends that exist hundreds of years ago and we know them today that tell many myths about the oldest Roman deities differ from many traditional and legendary legends that explain the work of the gods and goddesses and there are many events that cannot be explained and that are inconsistent with natural factors.
Roman myths give reasons for the rituals and ceremonies that were held in honor of certain deities and who were representing certain important functions in daily life, but we must bear in mind that the ritual came first and then after that the myths that were created to align with the deities came.
But then Roman myths became similar to those of the Etruscans and Greeks and the early gods took human forms and these gods became genealogies and trees for their family and there are many complex personalities, in addition to the myths around the gods two very popular myths emerged about their origins where some tell the story of the founding of Rome before Aeneas, a young Trojan, whose father was Venus, the goddess of love, and there is another story about the founding of Rome by Romulus, who is one of the twin sons of Mars, the god of agriculture and war, and these myths became, as they were from a wide month, reading like history.
The Foundation of Rome
There were many legends urging the founding of Rome and many historians and poets wrote, mixing science, truth and imagination with each other to create many believable stories that gave the Romans respectable origins and ancient lineage for the Roman people to be proud of, which gives them great importance in the footsteps of their predecessors and which gave them immortality in their lives As found in their myths and stories and also many of them were eventually worshiped in the same way as gods
The poet Vergil did not find it difficult to remember the heroic battles that described the struggle of Inias to establish Lavinium with the victorious Rome wars during many of the early years of the Roman Republic such as the Punic Wars and the period of the Roman Empire and he convincingly wrote about those wars and other personalities using some history quotes that tell about the founding The Roman Empire and what these wars and events did in establishing this empire, but what wars did did not match his story, as events in this ancient time period shifted .

Early Roman Religion
The first Romans were herdsmen and farmers who spent most of the time outdoors, who were periodically affected by droughts and floods. Also, there were lightning and some mysterious powers afflicted them from their concept and they do not know why this is happening as the world at that time is unpredictable, but these mysterious forces greatly affected Their daily lives and as a result of these mysterious powers they began offering offerings and worship to a variety of forces of the soul or gods that they believed to inhabit around them in the fields and forests and in their homes and from the intensity of their ambiguity it was difficult to imagine in any form or moral genus so they did not create human forms of their statues, unlike Greek deities who had strong personalities similar to humans and these early Roman gods were only ideas that were difficult to materialize and did not take any material form for them to secure goodwill and protect themselves from these evil influences and were worshiping them on the simple massacres on which they left the offerings of food, wine, wines and others Of the offerings that were made for these mysterious phenomena and effects.
